Volunteer

Make a difference in someones life, in the community and in the world around you.

Who Can Volunteer?

Volunteers come from all walks of life, cultural groups and economic backgrounds. Participating in the service of others can provide you with the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends, explore a new career, contribute to your community and support a cause you believe in.

Volunteer times at CLV are flexible and can fit any schedule, any lifestyle: you can volunteer several hours a week or one event a year.

What Can You Do at Community Living Victoria?

There are many ways that you can be involved with Community Living Victoria:

We offer practicum placements to students in various programs including Camosun’s Community Support and Education Assistant program, Nursing, Child & Youth Care, Social Work, and other related human service fields. The people we support are active in their community, including recreation & leisure activities.

We are governed by a volunteer board of directors and are always looking for community minded people to sit on our board.

Our Foundation board actively raises funds for Community Living Victoria through fundraising events and at times we need volunteers to support these initiatives in many different ways.

We also need volunteers to help us with youth programs.
