Our Foundation

Join Our Foundation Board and Make a Difference!

Are you passionate about making a real impact in the community? Community Living Victoria Foundation (CLVF) is seeking dynamic individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you’ll play a key role in supporting individuals and families with intellectual disabilities by helping us raise the funds that make a difference in their lives.

What We’re Looking For:

Community Champions: People who are eager to leverage their connections, networks, and resources to further our mission.

Advocates & Ambassadors: Individuals who will actively promote and represent our organization, helping to build strong relationships within the community.

Engaged Leaders: Those who are ready to dive into board meetings, contribute ideas, and participate in the strategic direction of our Foundation.

Collaborative Spirits: We value the diverse experiences and voices that each board member brings to the table, and we’re looking for those who respect and embrace different perspectives.

Fundraising Enthusiasts: Help us identify opportunities, partnerships, and personal connections that can benefit our fundraising efforts and enhance our visibility.

Your Commitment:

Meeting Involvement: Attend monthly board meetings, held in person at our office (3861 Cedar Hill Cross Road) or virtually via Zoom. Expect a commitment of 1-2 hours per month as we meet for 9 months/year (July, Aug & Dec off).

Active Participation: Get involved in one or more committees or task forces and contribute to the planning and execution of our fundraising events.

Learning & Growing: Engage in learning opportunities to deepen your understanding of the community we serve and bring new insights to the table.

Joining our board is not just a volunteer opportunity—it’s a chance to be part of something bigger, to create meaningful change, and to use your skills and connections to benefit those who need it most. It’s also a chance to expand your network with other local business folks. If you’re ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!
